Objectif final: Creating a prom dress
(Theory)
First of all, I’m going to make some different researches with the help of internet and fashion books. With everything that I learn I’m going to make a Padlet to sum up everything. I’m gonna create the Pinterest board for both projects but for the dress I’m gonna make it a sous-tableau. I’m not really sure how I’m gonna do for the Vision Boards but I may combine both projects in it. And also not forgetting the consignes researches like des œuvres d’arts for example.

Secondly, I’m going to sketch THE dress then at this point I’m gonna see how I feel for the upcoming classes. I will either only work on the dress but create the real version of it. Or, I pause the project and just approfondir the dress scrapbook looking page and later on I continue the real dress outside the date limit. OR I give up everything if the whole dress project is too much and instead I focus on the collection and making a full high fashion collection.
Details of my “backup plan”
The plan is to create a book with a collection of high fashion designs inspired by Christian Dior. The style of art must be minimalistic, curving lines, palette de couleurs définie. Détails for the design but not a lot of colours used. I will only create ONE dress (the actual project) and see how it goes. If everything’s on time and I feel like I can do it, then I will do it. Creating an actual prom dress. IF the project doesn’t workout cuz I don’t know how to sew :/ i will keep only the sketching part and continue the rest of the collection. HOWEVER if it’s only a matter of time I will still work on the dress as a parallel project on my own time and I will only submit the dress sketch.
